Tota Roy Choudhury , who was recently seen in Jaanbaaz as a cop, has praised Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu. The actor appreciated her acting in Saand ki Aankh. The film was release last week and is doing well at the box office.

He took to his Twitter account and wrote, "I have been following your career trajectory since #Aadukalam The choices that you made since, the effort that you put in & the acting maturity that you reached in such an early age is inspiring. And yes, I am a fan." To which Taapsee thanked him.


Actor Tota Roy Choudhary will be seen in Bollywood film ‘Mira’. The film is directed by Ribhu Dasgupta and is based on the bestselling novel titled The Girl On the Train by Paula Hawkins.

Tota has already started shooting for the film in London. Apart from Tota, the film will feature Aditi Rao Hydari, Kirti Kulhari, Avinash Tiwari and Parineeti Chopra.

In film, Parineeti is playing the role of an alcoholic divorcee, who becomes involved in a missing person's investigation. However, Tota did not reveal much information about his character.

He made his film debut with Prabhat Roy's National Award-winning Bengali film Lathi (1996). His breakthrough role came with Rituparno Ghosh's National Award-winning Bengali film Chokher Bali (2003). He made his Bollywood debut with Sujoy Ghosh's Kahaani 2: Durga Rani Singh (2016).
